We watched the radar all day on Friday, not knowing whether we would have to move last minute to one of our backup locations. But low and behold, the rain held off just long enough for us to get some killer portraits of the most adorable family!

The Butterfly Garden in Monona is the perfect backdrop for family photos. It has gorgeous light, pretty flowers, convenient parking and did I mention the gorgeous light?!? Then to top it off, it is right down the street from where I grew up! Back then, I didn’t see the beauty in this small, Iowa town but in my “older” age I have grown to appreciate what this town gave to me. But enough about me, can we all take a second to admire how cute this entire family is! I loved how down to earth and easy going they all were.
