After this Lansing Iowa session, I definitely think I need to get a few more expecting mothers in front of my camera! Because it was sooo much fun! Maternity sessions are so special. Maybe it’s the pregnancy hormones talking but I think they capture such a special time in a couple’s life. There is the excitement of bringing a little one into the world, yet the unknowns about how their lives are about to change forever.

It is crazy to think that the last time I saw Jalen and Jackie, we were having a very chilly session to announce their new to the world. But they also trusted me with planning their gender reveal! Probably the most stressed out I have EVER been. But so worth it to see the excitement on their faces when they found out they were having a baby girl! Now here we are counting down the days until they can meet her face to face. 

Jalen & Jackie, thanks for letting me be a part of this moment in time. I know this isn’t the way you expected the end of your pregnancy to look. But before we know it, she will be here and all the unknowns and changed plans won’t matter. I can’t wait to see you both take on this new role as parents. Baby Cooper is so blessed and I am already looking at my calendar for when we can schedule play dates! Or at the very least, when we can make the trip back to Lansing to see her in person!!!
