As the day went on, we dodged downpours and I checked the radar almost as much as the guests were checking the Iowa vs Iowa State football score. And because Emily and Colin shared the sweetest first look, we were able to get so many beautiful portraits throughout the entire day so they could be present at cocktail hour. They couldn’t have been more easy-going. Emily and Colin were a dream to work with, and I think Emily could teach a class on how to remain calm and collected no matter what happens on a wedding day!
And I can’t forget about the many sweet bridesmaids, family and friends of this amazing couple that came up to ME and thanked me for being there to help them celebrate. Sometimes I just don’t understand how we lucked out with such incredible clients who also have the best entourages!!! I’m so thankful!
Mr and Mrs Opay, I hope you love reliving your wedding day through this blog post. It was such an honor to be your photographer. And thank you for trusting me to capture your day no matter the forecast!!!
