And while there were a lot I could mention, like her gorgeous pearl headpiece that was originally her great grandmother’s wedding veil. The most impactful to me was the large display of wedding photos from their ancestors! It dated back generations and served as such a beautiful reminder of the great and epic love stories that brought them to this day. I can’t even imagine how much of a labor of love it must have been to pull all of those photos together! And then getting to witness one of those love stories 66 years strong out on the dance floor was even more meaningful.
Molly and Sam, you are both so blessed to have such a legacy of strong and happy marriages set before you. And while your day was amazing, I have no doubt that your marriage is the true star in this show! It takes a special couple to not let rain and chilly temps derail them from enjoying the day. Yet through it all, you both were the definition of two people who were just overjoyed to be getting married no matter the weather! Thank you for trusting me to capture the start of your legacy, not just for you but the generations of love that you will also inspire!!!
