I’m writing this via voice text as I am driving home from Milan and Katie’s wedding. I wanted to get my thoughts down while the joy of today is still fresh in my mind. We spent today with the sweetest people at one of my favorite venues, the historic Dousman House.

I am amazed by the kindness, thoughtfulness and helpfulness of all of Milan and Katie’s family and friends. From bottles of water, to help finding family members to double and triple checking we were able to sit down and grab a bite to eat, everywhere I turned there seemed to be someone willing to help make Milan and Katie’s day the best it could be. 

But as I listened to the speeches, it was never more evident that this thoughtfulness stemmed directly from the bride and groom.

Because even on their own special day, they were thinking of others. On a day where it would be so simple to only be focused on the love they have for each other, we celebrated not one but two special birthdays.

As you scroll through this beautiful day, I hope you can see the joy that I felt being there in person.

Milan and Katie, I hope you are enjoying your first few days as husband and wife! What a gift it is to be able to witness your special day! I will forever be thankful for your kindness and thoughtfulness in all things. Thank you for entrusting me with this big responsibility! Enjoy a peek into your day through my eyes and keep your eyes peeled for your video sneak peek tomorrow!!!
