A Warm Allamakee County Pavilion Wedding | Waukon, Iowa

Our summer season is officially here and we kicked off the month with a beautiful, albeit warm, wedding at the Allamakee County Pavilion in Waukon. It was such a joy to get to celebrate Tyler and Kaia, the sweetest high school sweethearts, as they tied the knot at a little country church just across the road from his grandpa’s home. And it was so refreshing to have a day filled with so many sweet and intentional moments.

I loved all the thoughtful touches and the way they celebrated their loved ones who were there in spirit. I’m still laughing about the “one of a kind” memories of the day, especially the inclusion of “Steve” , a little stuffed horse that with the help of the bridesmaids, Tyler was able to sneakily tie onto Kaia’s dress. But more than anything, I loved getting to witness how much these two love each other and how much they are loved by those around them.

Tyler and Kaia, thank you so much for letting me into your day. It was such an honor to get to celebrate with you both and an even greater honor to be welcomed in by your people. Your day was the perfect reflection of your relationship – equal parts lovely as it was intentional and fun! While I am a little jealous of the views you are enjoying right now, I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in Alaska. And I can’t wait for you to be able to relive a small portion of your day below!
