An Elegant Wedding at Heartland Acres

When I asked Alexis what she was most looking forward to on her wedding day at Heartland Acres, she said (in all caps) the party. And one year later, I can say the celebration lived up to the hype!!! It was a day filled with the happiest of tears, the sweetest of moments and a room full of people excited for Alexis and Joseph to become husband and wife.

This wedding at Heartland Acres marked the halfway point of our wedding season. And I have never felt more inspired by my job. As I sat down for dinner, I was reminded just how lucky I am to work with so many amazing couples. Couples who welcome me into their lives with open arms and trust me to capture their day. But also how lucky I am that my amazing couples are also surrounded by some of the sweetest, and most genuine people.

So many times throughout the day, I had complete strangers come up and thank me for capturing Alexis and Joseph’s day. And I definitely lost track of how many times people offered to grab me a water or a snack “since I’m going that way anyway.” But that’s just the type of people that our couples attract.

Alexis and Joseph, thanks for letting me celebrate with you on your best day. You are both so lucky to have such amazing family and friends by your side. And I can’t wait to see all the adventures you take together as husband and wife!
