Happy Tuesday, friends! We’re so excited to share Michael and Nicole’s romantic sunset session engagement session with you!
You guys. Palisades-Kepler State Park was in rare form on Sunday. Seriously, I’ve lived in Iowa my entire life, and I’ve never — ever — seen sunset glow like this. Yet even in all it’s glory it didn’t even compare to the stars of the show.
We rescheduled Michael and Nicole’s engagement session after last week’s weather forecast was less than ideal – we are talking humidity and storms like you wouldn’t believe. This is always a gamble because you never know what the weather will be like in a week, especially in July but man did we luck out. And if it wasn’t obvious by the shear amount of photos in this blog post, Michael and Nicole were naturals in front of the camera AND didn’t even bat an eye when I asked them to pose in front of a sea of strangers also getting their portraits taken in the middle of what seemed to be the most popular photography destination this side of the Mississippi on SUnday!
Michael and Nicole, we hope that you love your engagement photos as much as we loved taking them. As someone who is just a couple short months away from her own big day and personally knows how fast it goes, cherish the next 10 or so months together. Do everything you can to slow it down, because you only get to be fiances once! But I’ll be doing the exact opposite and hoping the next year flies by so we can all celebrate your big day together!!! Enjoy a “few” of my favorites!!
