Intimate Postville Iowa Wedding | Michael and Jodi

My FIRST intimate wedding in three months…I seriously can’t believe it!!! And if it wasn’t already special enough, I got to witness my sister in law marry the man of her dreams! We have been looking forward to their big day for so long. So nothing and I mean NOTHING was going to stop us from celebrating them. Not being 36 weeks pregnant, not the random rain storm and definitely not COVID threatening them to postpone. But at the end of the day even though the day was different than initially planned, it was magical in that we could be together to witness their love.

After months of preparations, Michael and Jodi said “I do” underneath the shade of towering pine trees. They set up the prettiest alter just steps from her parent’s front door. It had been raining on and off all the way up until they walked down the aisle. But once they started their hand written vows, the skies opened up. The sun started peeking through the clouds. And by the time Ethan pronounced them husband and wife, we had clear skies as far as we could see!

Michael and Jodi, words can’t begin to describe how excited we are for you both. It has been so fun getting to see your love grow over the years. But more than anything, we can’t wait to see how it continues to blossom as you start this new chapter of your lives together.
