It isn’t everyday that we get to travel up north. But I would be lying if I said I wasn’t excited about it! I love Minnesota so when Michelle and Brandon wanted a Rochester engagement session I did a quick Google search of the location and said a big fat YES!
I arrived at the Plummer House, an old English Tudor mansion, and was blown away. It sits atop a hill and looks out across the town below. I can’t even imagine how grand this property was back in the early 1920s when it was first built on the large property. So many cool architectural elements that we just don’t have in the rolling hills of northeast Iowa! After a quick look around, and a bit of a mix up with the property staff, we were set for Michelle and Brandon’s engagement session! We explored the property and after a suggestion from a caterer, we found the coolest water tower at the back of the estate. If Rochester has more little gems like this, I may need to start making more trips up north!!!
Michelle, it was so fun getting to catch up again. Our days at Wartburg seem like a lifetime ago! And Brandon, it was so great getting to officially meet you! I had so much fun hanging out with you both during your Rochester engagement session. It has me even more excited about your wedding day next year! And thank you for your patience for your feature on the blog during our busy season!!!
