At the beginning of the year I made a list of locations that were on my bucket list. Some of them I knew would be a reach (mountain session anyone), while most of them were a bit more attainable! One of those spots was the Seed Savers Exchange just north of Decorah. It is a beautiful paradise nestled into the woods and it has all of my favorite things.

After a short rain delay, the Vens Family met me early Sunday morning for their family session. With two young kids, you never quite know what moods they will be in when they arrive. But to my surprise (and relief) these two cuties had smiles on their faces and were ready to go!

Vens Family, thank you for being just the perfect little family to bring to one of my favorite Decorah locations. It was so great getting to spend the morning with you. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites (the cow portraits may be my personal favs)!
