This day was one for the record books. We had so much fun celebrating with Austin and Thea in Yellow River State Park for their engagement session, and their boho inspired wedding in Waukon was no different!

A year ago when Thea and I first started talking about their day, I asked what are you most looking forward to on your wedding day. And she said, “We are looking forward to celebrating our love with one another in front of the most important people in our lives. We are excited to finally be able to share this special day together and to celebrate and look back on our journey over the last 8.5 years! We want the wedding to be very personal and about the two of US and of course cannot wait for all the celebrating and the PARTY to follow!” And on the drive home, I couldn’t help but think that is exactly what Saturday was all about.

When I arrived Saturday morning, you could feel the love and excitement of the day unfolding. Austin and Thea are so loved and adored by their people and it made their day so incredibly easy to capture. They had a massive bridal party and it was so fun seeing how joyful each and everyone of them were to FINALLY be celebrating these two high school sweethearts!

Austin and Thea, it has been such an honor to get to know you both over the past year. The love you have for each other and the people around you knows no bounds. There were so many times throughout the day that I kept saying to myself, “This is so THEM!” The perfect blend of you both all wrapped up into one amazing celebration. And the party that followed was pretty epic too!!! It was a stunning day for a boho inspired wedding and I can’t wait for you to see your day through my eyes!!!
