An Intimate Winterset Wedding
Josh + Stacey
It isn’t very often that I get an afternoon start on a wedding day. But one perk of a 6:00 pm ceremony means no early morning wake up call…for anyone!!! So I was able to sleep in, get some coffee (which I conveniently forgot to drink) and take time to not only physically but mentally prepare for the day!
So one of my wedding day traditions is to read through the various emails or notes I have received from our couples while also scrolling through their engagement gallery! It serves as a small reminder to who they are as a couple, what they value and how they envision their wedding day to not only look like but feel. So that when I arrive those things are all fresh in my mind as I start documenting the day!
Even with some stronger than expected winds outside, Josh and Stacey had an absolutely beautiful day in Winterset and it was an honor to capture it all. Their day was centered on the love they have for each other but also those around them. Sometimes I still don’t understand how I have been so blessed to meet and work with such incredible couples!!! I can’t wait to show you these images. Enjoy reliving their wedding day through my eyes!!!
