We set the cake down on the pavement and just hoped and prayed that little Miss Riley would dig into all the sugary pink glory!

I have so much fun capturing these one year old milestone sessions, especially when it involves a cake smash, tutus, balloons and the cutest little model a photographer can ever ask for. I have to say, Miss Riley is an absolute joy between her sweet smiles to all the faces she gave me in between – I may have to share some of the “outtakes” on my instagram because they are pure gold! I think her mama will especially enjoy some of the faces she was throwing whenever she had to share the spotlight with her two big sisters. (Don’t worry we got some where everyone is smiling too!)

Thank you so much to Miss Riley (and family) for making the trip to St Feriole Island and braving the bugs with me! I promise I did my best at attracting them so they would bite me and not you (I am only slightly joking *as I read all of the bug bite remedies Google has to offer). I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites on your very own feature on the blog!!! As always it was such a joy getting to spend time with you and I can’t wait to do it again soon!
