Wyatt William | Four Months

Personal, The Story of Us

POP THE CONFETTI BECAUSE WE ARE CELEBRATING FOUR MONTHS OF WYATT WILLIAM!

Four months?!? Honestly I can’t believe it. I scheduled my July to include lots of family fun. And while we definitely accomplished that, we have little photos to show for it! And honestly, I’m okay with that. I was so nervous to block off almost half of my month to actually have some time to enjoy the summer. But it was just the relaxing time I needed to push us into our beyond crazy August.

So while the photos are extremely limited in comparison to past posts, just know that we have been enjoying this summer to it’s full extent to the point that I almost forgot to share little man’s updates!

Month Four:

  • Little man is officially loving tummy time and is getting very frustrated that he hasn’t mastered the back to tummy roll yet.
  • For most of July, he was sleeping from 7:00pm – 5:00am and then officially waking up at 8:00am. But as these things go, the last couple days he has resumed his 2:00am feeding. Although he typically is quick to fall back asleep so no complaints there and always in his signature position of two arms stretched over his head or one covering his eyes.
  • He has started to laugh at everything and loves to be tickled on the chin. I love that he still has his trademark smirk!
  • Wyatt is also becoming quite the talker and is a big fan of telling us long winded stories during breakfast. Maddie says he is explaining his dreams to her and insists that I have to translate for her!
  • In the last week, he found his toes and will hold onto them at all costs. Thankfully they haven’t made their way to his mouth quite yet, although I am sure that is coming. But we haven’t reached that yet because he always has something else in his mouth instead! His current favorite being his sloth teether.
  • Still loves riding in the car, which I will be putting to the test this week when the two of us go and have a weekend away while Ethan and Maddie get some quality time!
  • But by far our favorite thing from this month, is how he loves holding our fingers. Whether it is when we are playing with him or to keep us from from pulling away his 6-8oz bottle before he has drained the last drop!
