Wyatt William | Ten Months

Personal

POP THE CONFETTI BECAUSE WE ARE CELEBRATING TEN MONTHS OF WYATT WILLIAM!

I take back what I said about last month being the sickest our house has ever seen, ten months was much worse. January was by far the worst with us all getting strep at different times, some of us twice. Hence why this month’s update is a week late! But while it didn’t seem like much happened, looking back it was still a jam packed month. So without further fan fair, I give you our monthly highlights:

TEN MONTHS

  • Wyatt was baptized this month and we were able to get the whole family together at our house to celebrate afterwards!
  • He is officially crawling on all fours (something that Maddie never did). Which means he is hitting new speeds every day! Nothing is safe and his favorite past time is trying to sneak into Maddie’s room when we aren’t looking.
  • Wyatt has also learned to clap and loves showing anyone he meets his new skill. Same goes for copying sounds, but his favorite is if you copy him. Maddie loves this game because it makes Wyatt laugh endlessly.
  • He has become quite an eater, something that shouldn’t surprise me but does. I am looking forward to no longer having to buy formula but I have a feeling our grocery bill won’t change all that much with how much he can put back in one sitting!
  • This past week was the first time in over two months where we had three consecutive days without someone in our house being sick or on medicine, Wyatt ruined the streak on Thursday but fingers crossed we put all of that behind us!
  • We lost Tucker this month and it has been an adjustment for everyone. Tucker was always the first to run into Wyatt’s room in the morning to say hello. It’s been a couples weeks now. And I am already starting to notice that Wyatt doesn’t look for him anymore. I know he won’t remember these things, but I am glad that Maddie is old enough
