Before we deep dive into all the things, there are a few things you should know about me, Megan. For starters, I use WAY too many exclamation points, I am a Dunkin girl and I am constantly starting a new home renovation project!!! But more than anything I am so thankful that you found my little corner of the world!
I was refreshing the weather every chance I could get, because rain was coming but we knew that if we rescheduled to a later date we would loose the last glimmer of fall. So rather than a sunset session, we had a “sunrise” engagement session! It was still cold but other than a couple sprinkles at the end we were able to get their entire session down without the rain being an issue. The same can not be said for my drive home!
I met Danica when I attended Wartburg back in the day and I was so happy when she reached out about possibly having me capture her wedding day. We met up in Decorah for some ice cream this summer to chat about their upcoming wedding and I knew right away that Justin and Danica were the perfect match for each other. I gushed when they told me their proposal and was majorly impressed by how organized and prepared they already were after only being engaged a couple weeks. I mean I waited till we were in the double digits before planning a lot of OUR details lol
Danica and Justin, I had such a great time hanging out with you again! I can’t believe that the next time that I see you will be your WEDDING!!! If your engagement session is any indication of how perfect your wedding will be, I better buy a few more memory cards to capture all of amazing-ness!
