COVID-19 may have me trapped inside my house all day. Yet thankfully I still get to look at pretty pictures day in and day out to keep my sanity! And they don’t get much prettier than this Waverly engagement session!!! While I would like to take a little credit, in all honesty, it was April and Matt that made it so special.

April and I first started talking about their September wedding a couple of months ago. Yet within a few emails, I could tell that they were the definition of Snitker Sweethearts. I mean she described their dog Miley as their dog daughter. Really, I have never related to something more in my life! We went on to talk all about how Matt had planned out the perfect proposal. One that included sneaking a STUNNING ring through customs. Then proposing to April next to the ocean in Jamaica I might add. And how they envision their wedding to be magical and elegant mixed with glitz and glam! Anyone else already wishing for September to come?!?

By the time we met up, it was hard to believe that we were technically still strangers!

But within minutes, we were rolling through poses. I was laughing while simultaneously trying not to sound too out of breath. #PregoProbs But after hitting a few of my favorite spots, we made our way out into the country. And let me tell you, the short drive was enough to remind me just how blessed we are to live in this area. We pulled off the gravel road I was greeted by rolling hills with prairie grass as far as the eyes can see! Talk about a dream location for our first engagement session of the year! And as an added bonus, Miley aka dog daughter, got to run to her heart’s content. And I think she found every bird in the area to prove it!!!

Matt and April, if our initial emails weren’t already enough to get me excited for you big day, meeting you in person sealed the deal! You are two of the most kind hearted down to earth people I have ever met. I am truly honored that you are entrusting me to capture these memories for you! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from your Waverly engagement session. And more than anything, I hope they add a little extra brightness to your COVID Quarantine like they have to mine!
