When I tell my seniors to meet me in Downtown Decorah, I am sure they have a few initial ideas of where we will go. And while we may stop at some of them, my favorite locations are the spots most people would skip right over! Truthfully, I like the challenge of turning a three foot area between an air conditioner and a dumpster into something magical. Thankfully there is no one more trusting than our spokesmodel, Mia!

After a last minute weather reschedule, we hit the jackpot on a perfect night! We explored downtown Decorah to our heart’s content before navigating our way to a hidden oasis! And thanks to Google Maps, we made it to the Lower Dam just in time for some glowy light. And while I have been there a few years back, this was my first time with my camera! I LOVE love love new locations that let me flex my creativity!!!

Mia, thanks for being flexible with the weather! I am so thankful we were able to make it work. Honestly, this night ended up being one of my favorites in Decorah ever!
