Domonick and Breann, thank you so much for letting me capture your day. From start to finish, it was such a joy. Your wedding was the kind that reminds me why I love what I do.

Interested in having us capture your wedding just like this one at Gatherings on the Ridge? Head on over to our experience page to learn more about it!
Tucked into the bluffs of southwest Wisconsin near Eastman, Gatherings on the Ridge is the kind of barn venue that makes you understand immediately why people fall in love with barn venues. The original structure dates back to 1906, and the property has been lovingly transformed into something that manages to feel both rustic and genuinely refined. Oak beams, soft light, a one-of-a-kind barbed wire chandelier, and twinkling white lights throughout. It has a personality that’s hard to find in a newer build.
It’s also centrally located for couples in the tri-state area — a reasonable drive from La Crosse, the Quad Cities, and the Twin Cities — which makes it a practical choice without ever feeling like a compromise.
The main level plus the loft can accommodate up to 280 guests, and tables, chairs, and linens are all included. There’s a bridal room, a large kitchen for caterers, and modern restrooms on the same level as the reception — which sounds like a small thing until you’re the one coordinating 200 guests at the end of the night. The barn is heated for shoulder-season weddings, and yes, there’s air conditioning in the bathrooms for summer. Both of those details matter more than people realize until they need them.
Ceremonies often take place outside under the large maple tree on the property, and the grounds have a natural, unhurried feel — a grassy area for lawn games, a bonfire pit, an outdoor balcony overlooking the yard. At dusk in the summer, the fireflies along the tree line are something I genuinely look forward to every time.
This is one of my favorite venues to work in. The interior light is warm and flattering, the oak beams give every photo depth and texture, and the surrounding ridges and valleys make for portrait backdrops that feel genuinely rooted in a place. Sunset here — looking out over the bluffs — is the kind of light I’d drive a long way for. I always encourage couples to step outside for portraits right before golden hour, and Gatherings on the Ridge never disappoints.
I’d love to be there for it. Head to my contact page and let’s get the conversation started.
