Golden Hour Senior Session | Bailey
I’ll be honest, when I first started taking on portrait clients I was in it for the love of photography. So while I loved that aspect, working with clients made me so nervous. Like give myself a pep talk before every single session nervous! Thankfully, my confidence has grown a lot since then. But a big part of that growth is that my WHY has shifted a lot. Sure I still love the challenge of nailing the perfect exposure on the first try or getting the perfect sun flare during the golden hour. But eventually I found what I love most about working with clients is seeing THEIR confidence grow throughout their session. This is especially true during our one on one senior sessions!!!
I met up with Bailey (and her mom) in Waukon for her senior session last week. We started out with some sport pictures at the high school and eventually made our way downtown and then into the country. And with each click of my camera, you could see more and more of Bailey’s personality shine through! Not only was she up for all my crazy ideas, she even brought some of her own!!!
Seriously, how did I get so lucky that my JOB is to capture such rockstar seniors?!?
Bailey, thanks for being everything we think of when we describe our Snitker Seniors. And an even bigger thanks for being up to crawl down a ditch to LITERALLY splash around in the water during golden hour! It was such an honor to spending the evening with you and your mom. I hope you had just as much fun as I did.
