I just need to start out by saying I LOVE LOVE LOVE sessions by the Mississippi. I always forget how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place. Last Sunday was no exception, when we made the trip over to the other side of the river for Clayton’s senior session. The light was glowing, we found some new portrait locations AND we got to spend some quality time with his pup! I’ve said it before but it is worth saying again…I am 100% game for having your pets in your photos!!! In fact, I encourage it.

We started out at Bloody Run Creek where we saw hints of fall all over the bluffs along with the occasional bug (okay maybe more than occasional). Luckily, I think they were far more interested in me than Clayton. I lost count of how many bug bites I had when I tried to count the next morning! Then we crossed the bridge to take some pictures on their dock just steps from their backdoor. The view was spectacular and the setting was the perfect way to end the day!

Clayton, thanks for putting up with the bugs with me! I had such a blast getting to hang out with you and your mom last Sunday. Enjoy a few of my many favorites below!
