I’m not gonna lie it feels like YEARS since we have had a camera in our hands! I guess that’s what happens when you have a baby and the days last forever but the time goes quick. Confusing I know, but all you parents get me…right? Thankfully this sunflower field session with my girl Zoee was the perfect way to jump back into things!

That being said, we originally planned for this session to happen tomorrow. But when the flowers are in bloom you don’t risk waiting a week! Because one day they can look super pretty and the next they look downright awful. Thankfully, Zoee was all for moving things up and we had a beautiful night because of it. And I was FINALLY able to explore all of the spots I had scouted this past spring before our entire season was canceled due to COVID!!!

Zoee, thank you for making my transition out of maternity leave super easy! I had such a great time exploring the sunflower field and all the other beauty of Prairie, even considering that you broke my one rule and snuck a few peeks at the back of my camera 😉 I hope this tides you over while I work on editing the rest of your gallery!!!
