Casey & Kailey

Rain. The radar had been clear and the sky was sunny until I got to Wartburg. Then when I checked the radar again my heart dropped. It was coming. And it was coming quick. I had backup locations and backups for my backups “just in case.” But I was bound and determined to make Casey and Kailey’s engagement session everything they had dreamed. We had a window of time. Plus, I knew that if we stayed focused we could get all their must haves taken care of with a little time to spare!

Luckily for me, Casey and Kailey are naturals in front of the camera! Their love story started on the Wartburg College campus during college. So it seemed only fitting that the beautiful campus lawn would serve as the backdrop for this next chapter. We got started right at 6:00pm. Then before we knew it, it was over! We had changed outfits three times. Plus traveled to four different locations all over Waverly and had accomplished everything I had planned and then some!

Casey and Kailey, I am so glad the rain stayed away. Still not sure how or why it stayed away until the exact moment we ended!!! Getting to catch up with y’all was so fun. Plus hearing all about your love story and wedding plans has been such a joy. And I am honored more than you will ever know. Thank you for choosing and trusting me to capture these special moments for you!
