Wyatt William | Nine Months

Personal

POP THE CONFETTI BECAUSE WE ARE CELEBRATING NINE MONTHS OF WYATT WILLIAM!

Nine months has flown by and our little man doesn’t seem so little anymore. He is learning so many new things and his personality is growing with each passing day! We got to celebrate so many fun things this past month like Wyatt’s first Christmas and the twin’s first birthday. But we also got to experience a very sick filled Christmas break. But on the bright side, that just meant lots of extra snuggles all around! So without further fan fair, I give you our monthly highlights:

Nine Months

  • Long gone are the days of laying him down in one spot and him being there when you turn back around! He still prefers to army crawl. BUT he did get up on all fours last (01.06.25) for a little bit, which is more we could ever say for Maddie. And while his preferred method is slower, it hasn’t stopped him from exploring every inch of our house! Nothing and no one is safe, especially Tucker.
  • Our little dude is rocking 18 month clothes these days. Which is so crazy to me!!! With Maddie, I felt like we are right on trend with her age. Which made planning ahead for clothing was so much easier! I can’t imagine what size he will need next winter!!!
  • Wyatt has also learned to pull himself up on anything and everything! His favorite is the laundry basket when I am attempting to fold laundry. Part of my brain wants to believe he is just trying to help but the little smirk he gives me when he pulls item after item out has me thinking he just wants to ruffle some feathers!
  • He has all but renounced baby food. Will he still eat it? Yes. But if you are eating your meal next to him, he will let you know how important sharing is until you give in and give him an adult size serving for himself! His favorite right now is goulash and mashed potatoes.
  • His voice has also grown in confidence, which anyone who has witnessed us in church can attest to! I thought he was going to be our quiet one but I have a feeling that won’t be the case.
  • My favorite new skill that is also my least favorite is how he loves to give sloppy kisses that usually end in one of two ways – him blowing a raspberry on your cheek OR biting you. Either way you are left with a whole lot of drool!
  • Arguably his favorite Christmas present this year was his two front teeth that came just in time for him to put to use for all the Christmas dinners!
