Before we deep dive into all the things, there are a few things you should know about me, Megan. For starters, I use WAY too many exclamation points, I am a Dunkin girl and I am constantly starting a new home renovation project!!! But more than anything I am so thankful that you found my little corner of the world!
Where did the year go?!? I mean seriously! Hope was my first senior session of the year last July and Micah was the last this past December so it only seemed fitting to have them “suit up” and wrap up my Class of 2018 seniors with a bang!
I have been wanting to do a Cap and Gown session for about three months now and rather than waiting another year for my spokesmodels to graduate, I invited these two down for a “quick” session. Plus, I got to test out my new lens before I jump full speed ahead into the busy wedding and engagement season!
We met at the Butterfly Garden & Trail in Monona and you wouldn’t believe how crazy gorgeous the light was last night! I mean everything was glowy and bright and after the longest winter known to man it was a welcome site to get to photograph COLOR! These two were pros and didn’t let the wind or my crazy ideas faze them one bit. (Sorry Hope for almost hitting you in the face with my reflector on more than one occasion).
I still can’t believe that these two are graduating and heading off to Iowa and Wartburg (go knights!) this fall! I know they want these last few weeks to fly by, but speaking from experience I hope that the time goes slow and they create as many memories as possible before walking across the stage! There is no doubt in my mind that these two will do great things and I am so thankful that I got to be even a small part of their story!
