“Josie and I met our freshman year of college at UWL in an English class. We started dating just after spring break and, well, the rest is history. We got engaged on March 16, 2020 down in Nashville during spring break. I have had the ring since Christmas and knew I wanted to do something special.
We planned to go to Nashville and were going to the Belle Meade Plantation. Our friends came with us on this trip because we knew that we wanted some of our closest friends with us. We got done with the tour and started the complimentary wine tasting. After the wine tasting, I saw that there was a garden that had some cherry trees that were in bloom. The girls took their photos first and then we did couples photos. The group and I decided that Josie and I should take ours next. Once the photos were done and Josie began to walk away. I stood there trying to get her attention and for her to turn around. She turned around, dropped her glass of wine and was in total shock. She said yes and I couldn’t have been happier.”
But getting to meet them in person was even more amazing! They are two of the sweetest people. But more than anything they were so trusting of my vision. They even trusted me when it meant hoping in and out of our cars while we chased the light all over Prairie du Chien!
Zach and Josie, I hope you had the most amazing mini vacation after your engagement session! I’ll be counting down the days until we can do it all over again for your wedding! But in the meantime, I will be loving these images from your Prairie du Chien engagement session!!!
