SPRING ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN PHELPS PARK

Engagements

The light was glowing through the trees from every angle imaginable and the light breeze was keeping the 90 degree heat away as they stood looking over the bluffs at Phelps Park in Decorah. He pulled her in close and gave her a sweet kiss on the forehead. I would be lying if I said I didn’t melt as I watched it all unfold from behind the camera.

Taylor and I have been emailing back and forth for what seems like month’s now, working on getting an engagement session set up. Our first date was when we had that major snow storm in April so for my finger’s sake alone, I am so glad we rescheduled and were able to get this spring (almost summer) like weather in late May! Sure it was Memorial Day weekend so every single park was packed and there were people everywhere, but Alex and Taylor posed like pros amidst all of it!!!

Alex and Taylor, thank you so much for making the drive to Decorah to hang out with me during the holiday weekend. Thank you for trusting me when I asked you to hug each other tight even though the temperature would suggest otherwise. I had such a blast with both of you. You are both so down to earth and soooo perfect for each other. I CANNOT wait till your wedding this fall so I can hang out with y’all again! Can you believe we are less than four months away?!? Time flies when you are living that engaged life! So while I count down the day till I get to see you again, enjoy a few of my favorites on your very own blog post!
