Rustic Iowa Wedding
On Friday I was checking every weather forecast I could find. I was hoping and praying that just one would have a forecast that would allow us to have some outdoor portraits for Mike and Sarah’s big day. However, every single one of them said the rain would start at two o’clock and not let up until the early hours on Sunday morning. So we packed up all of our umbrellas bound and determined to make the most of it. I woke up the next morning surprised to see that the rain had been pushed back an hour meaning we may have a small window of time to get some husband and wife portraits after the ceremony. I was overjoyed!! So I quickly finished packing the car and hit the road ready to take on the exciting day ahead!
And with every hour the rain got pushed back again and again and again.
Before we knew it, ALL of our portraits were done and we were ready to kick off the reception! Y’all, I have never seen something more magical. Mike and Sarah’s rustic Iowa wedding was one for the record books. Honestly, I am still in awe of how their love story was on full display throughout the entire day. From their pre ceremony prayer to the beautiful slideshow at the reception, each memory of the day holds such meaningful memories.
Mike and Sarah, thank you for trusting us to capture these memories for you. It was such an honor to get to know you and celebrate your love for each other! Ethan and I wish you nothing short of a lifetime of happiness and fishing together as husband and wife 🙂
